BTB David R. Spiegel, MD

David R. Spiegel, MD is a Professor of Psychiatry at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. He graduated from SUNY – Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn, and completed his Psychiatry residency at Dartmouth – Hitchcock and Hershey – Penn State. His areas of interest include behavioral treatments for geriatrics and the interface between cognitive therapy and psychopharmacology for anxiety and mood disorders. Dr. Spiegel is a clinical supervisor for psychiatry residents and psychology interns and presents to community mental health professionals. He is board certified in Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine.
