Read What Your Colleagues Are Saying About This Course
“I just wanted to thank you for your excellent Beat The Boards! review course for the child/adolescent psychiatry written board exam. Thanks to your excellent course, I was able to review everything I needed to know and take practice exams from my iPad. Your course greatly decreased my anxiety level and allowed me to pass the exam with relative ease. I have never walked out of a test feeling as confident as I did with this exam. The money for the course was well spent, and worth every penny. Again, thank you so much.”
Scott Bartley, MD, Heath, TX
“Beat the Boards helped me pass both exams with ease; I would not consider taking the boards without Dr. Jack Krasuski's courses and lectures, which more than prepare for the exam, they help me become a better clinician. I really likes the way the course is played out, with videos, printed material and review questions. It is quite manageable and very well explained and an appropriate level. Thank you so much and keep up the good work!.”
Warren DePonti, DO, Lexington, KY
“This course has been very informative and succinct in providing the necessary information to pass part I of the Child & Adult Psychiatry exam. The faculty has varied experience and were helpful in answering questions.”
Mohammad Jefferany, MD, Caro, MI
"The course focuses on what's important for the board exams. This is a very good review course and I would recommend it to all my colleagues who want to pass the Child Psychiatry Board."
Constantine Azarcon, MD, Wilmington, DE
"It was a comprehensive yet concise course tailored to help you pass the CAP Part 1, in a limited period of time."
Sunil Kettur, MD, Plano, TX
“I just completed the online course for my child and adolescent psychiatry part I exam. It was incredibly convenient to be able to participate in this conference from my home office. Not only was I able to manage my time most efficiently, I did not incur the travel costs of attending the live conference. I actually think it was more helpful than attending live, because I could pause the slides and make flash cards or repeat information that I wanted to hear again. Getting the CME credit was also very helpful and the exam taken at the end to receive credit was simple and a repeat of questions that are presented in the lectures (I was nervous about not passing and not getting credit). Thank you for this course!”
Scally Boeve, MD, HTucson, AZ
"This course will not only help me pass the boards but will also enhance my clinical skills. This is my second Dr. Jack's course. It was well run, high energy and informative. Informational and Educational content of the course will not only help me pass the boards but will also enhance my clinical practice! Thanks again!"Patricia Roy, MD, Skokie, IL
“This is the best course so far. I would say all-time best course. The whole team works hard. It is always enjoyable, from my experience at Part I & II Adult Boards. Courses are always geared to pass exam. “Beat the Boards!” name is justified!"
Jabeen Hayat, MD, Fresno, CA
“I watched most of the videos, review all the question banks twice and read the materials three times. I passed the initial certification test. I did not use anything else to study."
Elsie Bermudez Pounchard, MD, El Paso, TX
"This is the 2nd course I've taken from Dr. Jack and his team. The first one was prep for the General Psychiatry Oral Boards and I breezed through that Exam with flying colors after 3 previous failures. This Child Adolescent Review has been thorough, has a great syllabus, great lecturers and that are friendly! Jack has great colleagues with good characteristics for such a small group. Dr. Jack has a high degree of personal involvement and he also has good humor. Very well-done and worthwhile for 3 days and looking forward even to more resources on the web. Thanks!"
Pamela Hetherington, MD, Branford, CT
“There are no other courses or books to prepare for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry written boards. Dr. Krasuski has hand-picked lecturers which are dynamic and thorough. This is one of the best courses I have taken for any written board preparation. Thank you so much! “

Emmeline Hazaray, MD, Northbrook, IL
“I felt very prepared after taking this course. Every topic on the exam was covered in the lectures. The lectures are particularly wonderful for a "contextual" learner like myself as they are full of lecturerers' personal experiences and vignettes. I absolutely would (and have many times) recommended this course to other doctors.”
Leah Rosenkrantz, DO, Mount Laurel, NJ
"The review is complete and organized; most lectures included real data and current FDA information. Highly recommended for the boards and as a review for the specialty."
Alberto Escallon, MD, New York, NY

Beat The Boards! Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Board Review – Frequently Asked Questions
General Questions about Beat The Boards! and American Physician Institute
Is Beat The Boards! different from other board reviews?
Yes, in three main ways:
1. Beat The Boards! board review is the most comprehensive option. More than just a Question Bank of practice questions, each course includes in-depth lectures in a familiar classroom setting presented by expert faculty. This means you get a topic-by-topic review of exactly what’s on the board exam in much greater detail than what you can get from Qbank answer explanations.
2. Because the physician’s schedule is typically a hectic one, Beat The Boards! is optimized for on-the-go review. Components such as the audio-only lecture option, iOS and Andriod app for mobile review, and offline access capability, and a fully-illustrated board-mapped study guide make Beat The Boards! review easy to incorporate at any point in your daily routine.
3. The Triple Trust Guarantee not only gives you a full tuition refund if you don’t pass the exam the first time after taking the course, but it also gives you an extra 10% AND allows you continued access until you pass, for free. This unprecedented guarantee serves to assure you of the confidence we have that Beat The Boards! content is exceptional.
Who produces Beat The Boards! Courses? Where do you get your faculty?

Do you provide board review for other medical specialties?

Is it likely that my employer will cover my tuition?
Because all Beat The Boards! courses are approved for AMA PRA Category 1 CME credits™, it is likely that your tuition will be reimbursed. You may be surprised at how many residency and fellowship training programs, group practices, and other employers pay for or reimburse you for such Category 1 educational activities. After all, it’s in everyone’s best interests to have you board certified. It really pays to ask your training director, medical director or administrator if you are eligible because some training programs and employers do pay for board exam training. And, if you work for the Federal Government, American Physician Institute is a certified business in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and can accept government checks and credit cards.
Does Beat The Boards! offer any free board review resources?

The Triple Trust Guarantee sounds too good to be true—is it for real?
Yes, it’s completely real. Rest assured, API has always honored its guarantees and always will. What should I do if I don’t pass my board exam?
First, it’s important to remember that a non-passing result is not necessarily a reflection on your abilities as a psychiatrist. The way the ABPN tests you is not the same as the many ways you’re “tested” as a practicing psychiatrist. Check out this reassuring video from Dr. Jack - What To Do If You Fail Your Board Exam https://www.beattheboards.com/video-what-to-do-fail-your-board-exam/
More to the point, American Physician Institute can work with you to help you get over this professional hurdle. Give us a call!

Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Course Access
When do I receive online access to my Child & Adolescent Psychiatry review course materials?
When a credit card or debit is used for payment, access is immediate. When a check is used as payment, access will be granted once the check has been received and verified.
How long do I have access to my online materials? Does my course expire?
The Child & Adolescent Psychiatry prep course and all its associated online material remains active for a full 12 months from your date of purchase when you register now.
What if I'm not ready to take my exam? Can I extend my course?
Some ABPNs invest in a board-preparation course many years prior to their exam. In these cases, The Pass Machine allows course registrants to extend the life of their course by 12 months for an additional fee. If you wish to extend your access, please call 877-225-8384 prior to your course expiration date. NOTE: Extension options may be available to Group registrations by calling 844-332-5454.
