Dr. James is an active lecturer both regionally and nationally and regularly hosts and speaks at the “Pain and Law Conference” at the University of North Carolina (UNC). In addition to several research projects, Dr. James has delivered multiple poster presentations, winning the 1st place award at the Duke Annual Academic evening in 2010. Dr. James is particularly interested in academic medicine and is heavily involved in the resident and fellow education at UNC.
