Dr. Fry’s distinguished career includes teaching for nearly 30 years at the medical schools of the University of Louisville, Case Western Reserve University, and most recently at the University of New Mexico where he served as professor and chairman of the Department of Surgery as well as the chief of Surgery and director of Trauma Service at the University of New Mexico Hospital. Dr. Fry has also participated in numerous endowed lectureships across the country and is the recipient of the Alumni Achievement Award of The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Fry has published nearly 400 scholarly papers and abstracts, more than 100 book chapters, and 8 books. He is also on the editorial boards of several peer-reviewed journals.
