Dr. Dasgupta completed his internal medicine residency at Michigan State University and his Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship at Saint Lukes & Roosevelt Hospital then his sleep medicine fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital while working at VA Medical Center in Detroit. He received numerous awards including: resident of the year, fellow of the year and the Director’s Award for research two years in a row. After his training, Dr. Dasgupta worked at Abington Hospital where he was presented with the Faculty teacher of the year. He is quadruple board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. Currently, Dr. Dasgupta is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Southern California. He teaches USMLE Steps 1, 2, 3 for Kaplan Medical and writing his book “Medicine Morning Report: Beyond the Pearls” for Elsevier. Dr. Dasgupta can be seen on television shows such as “The Doctors” and “The Wellness Hour”.
